Female financial advisors have unique needs and challenges. That’s why Securian founded the Women's Interactive Sales Exchange (WISE). This national organization gives our female financial advisors opportunities to grow professionally through leadership, education, networking and recognition.

To empower Securian’s female advisors by providing them with the environment and tools necessary to increase their levels of proficiency and production and provide personal satisfaction in their careers. This is accomplished through:

When it comes to their finances, women are generally more risk-averse than men. However, they’re more open to financial advice, and they want a strong relationship with a financial advisor. Often, they choose a female financial advisor, who is more likely to understand their unique needs and share a common desire to maintain a trusted relationship.
